Tidepool Treasures
Do sea stars walk? How do sea anemones eat? Algae, burrowing clams, brightly-colored sea slugs, spiny urchins, dining sea stars and scuttling crabs are a few of the hardy and highly adapted creatures that call the intertidal zones home. What are these fascinating and strange beings living on Duxbury Reef? We will spend this hands-on, interactive afternoon identifying what we see and learning about their survival strategies, while being awe-struck and amazed! Also open to youth (age 5-17) with attending adult.
